Thanks Frank, it was hard to distance myself from 'batosurlo'. In the 1st 24 hours, you could not tell the difference beween limelight and her. It's only on the long climb to the top of Scotland that I managed to gain 7 or 8 minutes. Then I gained a bit more on a change of case below Brittany when I cut the corner, fell in a bad case (low wind) but changed sail and heading then changed sail and heading again 2 minutes later in a good case and found I had gained a few more minutes.

It was fun.

Check the time again John. Wouldn't mind using mezzo's IMOCA for the Vendée Globe race.
