Hello and bonjour. The Challenge picture of the course does not look quite right. It may be me, but the course arrow indicates you should sail East to West through the gate. In fact the marks indicate that your boat should pass through the gate Starboard side to South.

A few years ago, there was a mandatory way to go through the gates (thus the green and red buoys).
But there were also sometimes some tricky bugs in validating the gates.

Leaving the mandatory way made the bug disappear And we did not work again on it (kind of complex).

So do not take in account the green and red color of the gates buoys.
There is no mandatory way to go through.
Touch and Go is allowed, you just have to pass the line for one minute (with the scheduler) and the you can go the opposite way.

Maybe we should use different colors than green and red, which are confusing. If you have any suggestions ?

Hi Blaise, ok i see..no problems here. If we have a gate in the future that requires no "proper" way to navigate it...we can have a neutral colour ? like dark blue or grey.. any colour that is not used.

Hi, has something happened to the wind in the Faial Express ? does not show any wind speed on the controls my boat speed is zero no matter what direction i choose to steer. it is supposed to be 30 knots at 227 degrees, according to wind arrow. The compass rose, says the wind is at 180 ?
