Bugger! Not that I'm doing very well myself. Both foils have broken off and the J0 has blown out. Still there is a long way to go yet.
The doldrums look weird this year. Normally I would be in a more westerly position, but when I look 48 hours ahead, the middle still looks the best.
I have 12 waypoints available and instead I used only 2, just to swap from one side of the meridian to the other at one cell transition, otherwise it is Reacher (code 0) and 180 heading.
Somehow I can't get all that excited, instead I've been painting inside the cabin. White ceiling, and teak trims (I think, I've yet to buy the wood). Now that the confinement is over, I can think about sailing again.

Should be great to go out sailing again John after all this confinement shit. Here in Portugal and the rest of Europe there will be no relief for a while.
I'm keeping myself busy at the moment spraying about 20 pine trees in the garden. This, in order to prevent the procession caterpillar from spreading. These pests can give you serious skin problems if you come into contact with them. Don't know if you have them in OZ.
Too bad that there are only a few EF sailors participating in one of the top races. It takes away some of the excitement. I somehow don't think this Vendée Globe Bar is going to last the race.

A small confession from my side....................I'm also participating in the VG race on another platform (NO NAME) with 850.000 other Imoca's.
I was forced into it by some family members that wanted to sail the race. I could not convince them to use RG. They are novice and found it somewhat complex to use.
