Question:
There is a white parallel at latitude 58° 38' S . Can someone tell me what its significance is?

hi John,
pas le temps de traduire, c'est rien, juste l'affichage qui est perturbé aux abords de l'antiméridien. Il doit y avoir des infos à ce sujet quelque part dans "bugs"

Oh yes John, I mixed up the Jules Verne challenge and the Ultimatlantic, I'm sorry.
Yes, on the Jules Verne challenge, and on all races crossing the antemeridien, for a while, the tail of the boat is wrong and is making a whole circle around the planet, this is the white line that you see.
When the last point of the tail will be on the same hemisphrere than the boat, this line all around the planet will disappear.
This is a kind of "cosmetic" bug that is a bit tricky to solve, and we think it's not wotrh it to spend to much energy on it.
As you see, the game is not perfect, but however we can sail, race and have fun despite these little imperfections.
We hope you'll understand, although I've understood you like perfection...
(By the way, I think there is also a little bug remaining when crossing the antemeridian, one iteration get lost in translation, we should work on it as well...)
Best regards
Blaise

Ok, Blaise, it's not a problem, and I understand that minor little nits don't need to be fixed. I was just wondering if it was some kind of "Ice" limit where speeds are derated as VR does (or did, I haven't played at VR for years).
Personally, I think only 2 things need improvement, the loxodrome bug and I'd like fractional wind speeds in the cells instead of rounding the wind speed to the nearest integer. The fractional speed isn't actually hard to do, look up my calculators to see how I do it. It's done in the "vmg" tab, you need to unhide all the hidden columns between V and AN.
This would have a significant effect on strategies I think, a 9.7 knot cell will no longer be as good as a 10.4.

Hi all,
I am sure that i did not delete the JV that i was 35 days into...went to go into it this morning to find that i am back at the start.
Was there an automatic reset going on for the leaderboard or something ?
