Is anybody running RG on a Mac with Safari?? I have problems activating the full screen.

Hi Frank, André and Valérie have both asked the question in the French forum but no replies yet.

As for me, I find the slight gain in chart area not worth the bother of losing access to all my tabs. If I were running two screens, I might be tempted to run RG full screen on one, and all the other things I do on the other one, but as it is I just prefer to run RG normally.

Thanks for your input on the full screen bug John. I indeed don't want to start messing around with the function keys just for a little gain. Let's see if someone comes up with a bright idea, otherwise I will leave it as is.

some improvements on the English game screen can be made by
- replace nds for boatspeed with kts.
- replace amis, podium, tous with friends, podium, all
- in the compass circle add a "+" to increase heading with 1 degree and a "-1" to decrease heading with 1 degree, though it is easy to guess where to click to get a 1 degree shift
- on location of boat, the West coordinate is called O , must come from the french ouest
- the icons, bateau>boat, recherche>search, regulateur>auto-heading(the text on this icon does not show), polaires>polars, outils>tools,

it is all not the urgent, just a matter of tidying up.

Fog has arrived, but there is no window indicating it. I haven't tested with the sound "on" because last time the foghorn threatened to wake up the neighbours!

The menu to select who you want to see isn't there. Or if there is a way to make it pop up, I haven't found it.

Yes I think the fog message is missing, it will probably come back soon...

On which race do you see the fog now, limelight ?
There was a fog period on the Clipper this evening, but it's gone now.

There might be a bug that when the fog has gone away, even if you refresh, you still don't see the other boats.
In this case, you have to exit the race (got to another one, or to the home page, then connect back again io the race.
The bug works the other way as well, if you stay on a race where the fog has swtich to ON, you can still see the boats untill you close the race.
(Not sure if this is clear)

FYI, the cron job setting on or off the fog runs every hour at 19 minutes after the hour (xxH - 19M).

Ok, then the bug is I don't see that menu in normal mode. If I hit F11 + refresh I see it. When I return I still see it because I have a scroll bar on the right (the chart now being taller than the screen) but if I refresh, the scroll bar disappears and so does accessibility to the friends menu.

It was the Clipper race and refresh did not get rid of the fog, but starting everything from scratch did it.

in the new interface, I do see the races to select box,, but I can not find a way to select a Challenge??
